Our Dermaplaning course comprises both theory and practical elements on Dermaplaning skin techniques and has been structured from start to finish with you in mind. Upon completion of your Dermaplaning training, you will leave with the specialist skills that will help you feel confident to start your beauty career and perform Dermaplaning procedures.
You will gain practical experience both in the classroom and working on live models during this accredited course.
What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is an exfoliation technique using a surgical scalpel to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the upper layer of skin. This results in smoother skin and a more youthful complexion. The treatment is popular due to its many benefits, such as minimal downtime and impressive results.

We provide an in-depth tutor demonstration, where you can see the treatment in progress. To pass the course, you will need to complete the beauty treatments on live models.
After the Dermaplaning course, you’ll be fully accredited to complete the Dermaplaning treatments on your own clients. At TABA, we take time to discuss your plans within the beauty industry so that we can continue to offer support. We recommend building case studies of clients to highlight your expertise in beauty therapy.

The price for the Dermaplaning training course is £349 Inc VAT. Finance options are available. Please contact us if you would like any more information on finance at the beauty academy.
No previous experience is required for students. Whether you are a permanent makeup artist or a complete novice, we will give you all the training you need to become a successful Dermaplaning practitioner.

Yes, pre-study is essential to give you a basic knowledge of the Dermaplaning techniques and theory before coming to train with us.
Yes, we will arrange all models for you unless you wish to bring a model of your own. They will still be charged our normal model fee to cover products and disposables used during the dermaplaning treatment.
As you can understand, we only have a few places available on each course. For this reason, we take a deposit to ensure that the place is secured for a student. This protects us against last-minute cancellations and places that could have been offered to other potential students. For this course, a full payment of £349 will be required in order to secure your place on the course.
We are based on the outskirts of Chester, next to the UK’s largest outdoor clothes shopping outlet (Cheshire Oaks). We are 10 mins drive/taxi from Chester train station and conveniently placed right next to all the main motorway links (just off the M53 & M56). Our Post Code is CH2 4NE.
